you are probably going to be better off to just go ahead and get the thing repainted. I am assuming you just don't want to have to repaint the entire car due to a faded hood? In the long run you will be better off, because it will be damn near impossible to find a hood that actually matches, so you may end up repainting anyway

well one guy told me $150 to repaint the hood, certifit has a hood for about 100 plus painting itim also weighing just taking the hood off, sanding it, and spray painting itnot sure how decent spray paint it though

Spray paint is not decent. It'll keep it from rusting(maybe), but that's about it. If you decide to have it painted later, they'll charge you to sand that rattle can shit off.If that $150 includes paint that's a good price.
