Brian you got any experience firsthand getting this shit done at either of those places?^ that got me thinking, beverage supply companies and maybe fire extinguisher service companies may also be able to fill it. I have a 5lb tank.

Carquest can do flex hydraulic hoses (but not brake lines).Brakes, Inc.Dup's Auto Parts in Angier can fab ANY line.Fleetpride can likely do it.Hard lines, I don't know about any others.

screw national welders. they treat cash customers like crap, gotta have a big account to get any decent service.

I was out at the car wash this afternoon, and I caught a glimpse of a van going by that said BFPE on the side and something clicked in the back of my mind. Seven hours later the thought completes itself and I found a place where I think I can get my tank filled while I wait, and its like 2 miles away. Also, the brake hoses I thought I was gonna have to make, turns out I am getting them for free, so thats resolved itself. Now all thats left is oil cooler lines. I would love to be able to find correct fittings to adapt to AN type and then replace the entire line with a section of braided stainless. Is this a pipe dream or is it possible? Pun intended.

what exactly is all of this for?

Got the tank squared away today, took it to BFPE in Clayton, it was 5 years from new so I had to pay $14 to get it hydro certified and filling it cost me $17.
