Yeah, the worse thing to do is try to grab him or stop him or something.

1 - He could take it the wrong way and it could start something. Most players don't want to be touched by players of the other teams sideline.

2 - He could get hurt or slip or some crap. Next thing you know our sideline is being blamed for injuring the guy or some crap.

To many things could go wrong there, just let the guy run out of bounds and hold himself up. He is a fucking college athlete and a big boy. I hate that guy.

Announcers have to say something. They can't just sit there quietly when there is no reason to say anything. Filling dead air for no better reason than to fill dead air leads to making stupid comments.

This is why I abandoned the TV commentators long ago, especially Raycom commentators. That's what 101.5 FM is for. I didn't even hear the Raycom dolts for the UNC game until that torrent. Watching that torrent quickly reminded me why I mute them. Oh, and huge thanks to the guy who did the torrent for also providing the radio feed.
