Apparently a commonly used sealant on parking lots has a very high concentration of cancer-causing chemicals, that have already caused problems for a part of Texas (and probably other areas too). So if you are sealing a parking lot or driveway, make sure to check that you're not using a sealant with PAHs (coal-tar based coatings), instead you just want a plain asphalt sealant.

Cancer cases have been rising in the industrialized world, and this doesn't have to be the case. More research like this will help us eliminate all these chemicals modern society has created that gives us cancer. There are better alternatives, we just have to be aggressive in finding them.

In all seriousness, everything gives you cancer in the correct quantities.
Just like cancer drugs that can cause cancer, sleep meds that make you drowsy, etc.

Yes it does. We are living longer, so everything else being equal cancer cases must increase.

our immune system constantly hunts and destroys damaged cells, but sometimes they elude and grow into larger clusters

we have microscopic cancer cells in us periodically caused by nature that are often self-corrected
