Keys to the Game: Rebound, for the love of God, box out and rebound. I'm absolutely sick of seeing four to five guys passing around the perimeter with one hurling up a three and 5 guys from the other team not needing to fight for the board. Same goes for defense. Box out and pull it down hard.

^it was prominent in the second half of last night's game and thankfully they weren't connecting like in the first half. during the period where HP was ahead 17-13, they were guarded fairly well but were draining threes every shot they took.

Also, did anyone's jaw hit the floor watching that old man shoot threes at halftime? For those that weren't there, the "halftime entertainment" was this 65 year-old man who apparently was shooting 80% from behind the arc in his seniors' league or something. so he attempted 50 threes from 5 spots around the arc in under five minutes. he ended up draining like 44-45 of them. it was absolutely amazing. if it weren't for the one inch he jumped of the ground, i would swear he grew up shooting a set shot. i've never seen anyone shoot that well, ever.

It's much easier to shoot in an open arena on those rims IMO. I did a halftime promotion thing from Harris Teeter back in like '02 or '03 and I made the layup, FT and 3 pt shot easy. I had never even played in an open arena like that before but everything seemed closer.

I back rimmed the mid court shot unfortunately...

Holy shit, not to hijack the thread, but that was amazing. I'd never seen anything like it. Honestly, I didn't think that was humanly possible. After he was done, he attempted a shot from out of bounds beside the bench. Missed the first, made the second.
