i thought mae 310 just used the thermo and fluids books?

I'm in thermodynamics and transport in CHEthere is a mae class that uses thermo and fluids apparentlyMSE has a thermo class, and I'm sure other engineering majors have their own versionsso if you could say which one it was, that'd be goodI don't necessarily know the title of the book we use

that's the heat transfer (310) book. in 412 (heat exchanger design) you use this textbook and the fluids (308) textbook, for both homework and theory. hang on to them, you'll need 'em.

^that's what i was thinking about. i knew someone told me to hang on to all these books.

You're supposed to also need to keep Boles' thermo book, but I don't see why, except that the steam tables keep randomly being useful for things that are not really thermo related at all.
