i'll just make it short--black shows any and everything, white doesn't show much at all. i really don't know why but it seriously is true.

thats right, black cars show any dust or dirt. the silver crown vics from the highway patrol hide lots of dirt as well, we have light colored dirt around here.

Honestly congrats for getting a car. $2200 is way too much for a 96 Dodge Intrepid that was a former rental car. A quick search on craigslist shows much better stuff out there for less. Good luck, I've had a few Dodge's and there is a reason why they had to go to lifetime warranties to get people to buy their cars.

I still own one.

Congrats on finally getting a ride, but you definitely paid too much for that vehicle. Most of what is on that Carfax isnt anything special at all. Why didnt you just go private party? Would have gotten a better deal. You arent a beggar if you have $2k cash - and you definitely have options... It just takes a little patience. (Knowledge for next time I guess).

lol dnl you might as well have bent the fuck over and let the salesman shove the tailpipe up your ass.. you'd have been better off than wasting 2 grand on this piece of shit that is gonna cost you 5 before you're done with it

haha are intrepids like "notoriously shitty" or something? seems to be a pretty good car, and well maintained...not just some piece of shit from a private seller that knows its about to die

it's not the intrepid

..it's Dodge/Chrysler

and do you really think a dealer wouldn't sell a car that was about to die just as fast as someone else would?

why the hell do you think someone traded that thing in and accepted getting next to nothing for it? yea, that's right..because they knew something was about to go terribly wrong.
