Has anybody ever taken this class online with Larsen? What is involved? How hard is it?

Larsen is awesome. I had her for the actual class, so I couldn't tell you what she does with her online classes.

Her curriculum is designed so EVERY class day helps you with the assignments...there's no extraneous bullshit you won't actually use to complete your projects anywhere in the course. These assignments will actually help you IN REAL LIFE. You get to learn how to give presentations in your field, write a resume, research grad schools. The curriculum is so beautiful and integrated. She's not a terribly hard grader, pretty down to earth and realistic, and used to work for actual companies for years (like IBM I think) so she knows what you need to get ahead in the real world of science.

I highly recommend taking this course with Larsen. I dropped it when I took it with some other woman who did lots of pointless "discussions" and meaningless reading assignments.
