The last thread is dead. So the other day I was on Avent Ferry. A guy started coming over into my lane while I was right next to him. I honked, tried to move right a little bit to give him an extra second, but ended up hitting a curb hard and getting a flat tire. I put the spare on, not seeing it was flat, and drove a few miles home. That was not the smartest of ideas. So I got a new tire put on and now my car pulls to the right and violently vibrates at speeds higher than 45 mph. Is this probably and alignment issue or is it likely to be further damage. I sent slingblade a pm because I thought he used to do this kind of work.

a LOT of us used to do this kind of work. It is HIGHLY likely that you've bent something and your alignment is out.Could be lower control arm, strut, tie rod bent. Hell, you might even have a bent rim and the asstard at the tire place didn't notice while balancing.

well you're in luck cause im the best alighntment guy on the east coast my man. first ill need the make and model of car, but your best bet is that you can count on something being bent such as a control arm, tie rod, or even a sub frame for that matter. the noise you speak of could be a bent rim(if you just replaced the tire only), but most places will tell you and bring out out and say hey man you have a bent rim. or it looks like you could have done some damage to a wheel bearing.[Edited on November 12, 2008 at 11:15 PM.
