I go to some message boards and they have so many sections and sub sections, its just too damn confusing and ends up intimidating me before I even get near the threads.

I think the way it is now is good. The split between computer stuff and automotive stuff was a good logical split and needed. There are enough threads to warrant a split of evolution/atheism from the soapbox, but it wouldn't be logical.

Don't make a separate section for every thread.

Doesn't have to be a section on the message board though, could be like the ride finder or the book seller.
