they can't keep up with themselves. I ordered a HDD from them, it shipped yesterday. I just got the e-mail saying it had shipped and that I should expect it 10/30-11/03 and when I checked the UPS tracking numbers it had been delivered at 11am. Shipping from Richmond, FTW!

We actually just did a business case on them last night in finance class. Their cash conversion cycle (CCC) is negative (or atleast is was in the mid 90s), meaning they actually got paid for their product before they have to pay their vendors for the components they use to make that product. Brilliant business model.[Edited on October 28, 2008 at 1:29 PM. Reason : d]

when i was in undergrad i was so sick of hearing profs have mental circle-jerks to dell and dell's fantastic supply chain and business processes. meanwhile i was ordering servers and shit from dell that was taking a week or longer just to ship out.

ha. southwest has been our dell. ive never seen so many business professors have a hard on for a company like ive seen with southwest.

walmart's CCC is a double negative.they never pay their suppliers.
