thats pretty expensive, though with gas prices what they are, i guess not too suprising.I had a subaru forrester shipped from west texas to here like 5 years ago, it ran me 650 bucks.

^apples and oranges man. CA to NC = i40. Carriers charge based on distance from their main routes, more than actual distance.Cost to ship my car to CA was ~1200. Cost to ship to WA was 2350. This was last winter.

well if all goes as planned... the shipping company i found said to give them like 7-10 window to pick the car up, and it'll be around $600 and change.i forgot the name off hand.but if you've got a decent window, it'll be cheaper. and if you're in a decent sized city too
