the easy pick is UNC, since they're having a decent football season and they're the consensus #1 in basketballbut my pick is UConn. I hate them, but they'll probably finish with 40ish wins
10/23/2008 3:07:59 PM
Texas
10/23/2008 3:15:53 PM
I say Texas also
10/23/2008 3:17:42 PM
i'm not sold on Texas without Augustin
10/23/2008 3:22:08 PM
App St.Seriously, either UNC or UCLA.
10/23/2008 3:35:15 PM
I am going to go with LouisvilleThe leader as of today is Penn State - 8
10/23/2008 4:00:34 PM
Davidson finished with 35 combined wins last year
10/23/2008 4:02:06 PM
Least wins = NCSU
10/23/2008 4:54:47 PM
hahaha stfu

This is a dumb question. Some basketball teams have 8 more games than other basketball teams, so how good the football team is almost is negligible.
10/23/2008 5:41:11 PM
oh, it's a lot more than just "dumb"
10/23/2008 8:35:39 PM
does this include postseason?
10/23/2008 8:41:43 PM
I suppose a more relevant question would be what teams will have the highest combined ranking at the end of the year. (Which would be the lowest numerical value.)
10/23/2008 8:47:39 PM
How would you include non-ranked teams? Default them at 26?I would say either Texas or Florida.
10/23/2008 8:58:46 PM
texasoklahomauscor michigan state?(highest combinded ranking)
10/23/2008 9:02:48 PM
yeah guess what? make your own threadthe ranking thing is dumb too. what if Davidson or Georgetown won 30 games in basketball?
10/23/2008 9:12:15 PM
UConn or UNC is your best bet. Maybe Louisville.Gotta figure each will win ~ 8 football games. Those are almost the consensus Top 3 basketball teams and all they would have to do is win 4 more games than the football powerhouses (no way SC or OU win only 4 less than UConn/UNC and I doubt Texas or Florida does either)...
10/24/2008 1:41:28 PM
I fotgot UConn screwed the pooch against Rut-gahs. that might change my decision
10/24/2008 1:43:32 PM
winning % would suffice, right?
10/24/2008 2:14:12 PM
Vanderbilt or Wisconsinn
10/24/2008 2:41:13 PM
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWKSEasily KU, come on guys
10/24/2008 3:08:04 PM
KU won't even finish in the Top 25 and they aren't in many presason Top 30's even...Plus in the Big XII they won't finish with but 1 or 2 more W's in football than UNC/UConn/Louisville.** Actually, I'm going to change my answer to Pittsburgh.[Edited on October 24, 2008 at 3:26 PM. Reason : x]
10/24/2008 3:26:39 PM
i, too, was thinking pitt.
10/24/2008 4:02:11 PM
I will change my answer to pit and feel bad about my previous post.
10/24/2008 4:16:20 PM
