Does the '78 Buick manual cover the intermediates/A-bodies? If so I'll take it (unless primer has dibs already), most of it would probably apply to my Malibu.

You should be able to find an actual '78 Malibu Service Manual easily enough on eBay, I have bought both the '78 and '79 Cutlass versions before and probably have less than $20 in both.
