Some of the stories in the Atmosphere rankings are hilarious.
10/15/2008 5:46:28 PM
They should have included structure rankings which would include sightlines and design.
10/15/2008 5:57:38 PM
Brass Monkey knows more than those fools
10/15/2008 6:03:07 PM
also am surprised BoA is as high as it is
10/15/2008 6:08:20 PM
I hate everything about Dolphin Stadium
10/15/2008 6:45:13 PM
Shocking. The most expensive places to live in the country are all near the bottom. This kind of poll is retarded. It's ALWAYS going to be more expensive to go to games in NYC, Miami, Bay Area, D.C., etc, etc...And the bigger markets will ALWAYS be more critical of their favorite team/organization than the smaller markets who, in some cases, are just happy to have a major pro league franchise.
10/15/2008 6:47:47 PM
Ya but the city of Miami Gardens isn't THAT expensive so theres no excuse.[Edited on October 15, 2008 at 6:56 PM. Reason : gas at the peak time was 1 dollar cheaper in that area]
10/15/2008 6:55:14 PM
I really like how they put the Jets and the Giants in different spots in the rankings, even thought they both play in the same stadium
10/15/2008 7:53:19 PM
w00t buffalo #8!
10/15/2008 7:54:19 PM
If BoA is #17 in atmosphere, then I would hate to see how tame it must be in the other 15.
10/15/2008 7:56:33 PM
^NFL atmospheres suck in general though.
10/15/2008 8:12:38 PM
Arrowhead gets shitted on in yet another rankingmotherfuckers act like they forgot about Dre the Chiefs^relative to college football, thats definitely true...Kansas City however is probably the most similar tailgating environment to college that the NFL has[Edited on October 15, 2008 at 8:23 PM. Reason : .]
10/15/2008 8:22:58 PM
NYG will be at the top soon
10/15/2008 8:33:28 PM
Does the Arlington Cowboys stadium open the same year as the New Jersey Giants and New Jersey Jets? If so the Jersey teams won't be at the top.
10/15/2008 9:10:58 PM
retardedJacksonville's stadium sucks
10/15/2008 9:58:52 PM
The Cowboys new stadium will open next year.
10/15/2008 10:03:16 PM
10/15/2008 11:19:24 PM
The Superdome is waaay to high, may be the worst stadium in football.
10/15/2008 11:30:48 PM
Arizona should be way higher. Stadium that is, not atmosphere. The freaking grass is completely on wheels and rolls out of the dome.
10/16/2008 12:07:54 AM
San Diego is in SAN DIEGO. How can it not be in the top 10?
10/16/2008 12:15:45 AM
it seems like there is a ranking like this every other week.
10/16/2008 9:24:29 AM
Arrowhead is sick, BOA blows and how did the new Soldier Field get ranked 17th? That place is siack
10/16/2008 9:31:24 AM
JACKSONVILLE is #5?I have only heard bad things about that place.
10/16/2008 9:43:34 AM
I have been to Jacksonville. It's pretty dumpy, and the surrounding area (other than the river) is ghetto as hell.In their defense, the Bud Zone is awesome ... I don't know why you'd want to go anywhere else in that stadium.
10/16/2008 11:02:00 AM
I went to Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl in 2003. Aside from the river, its nothing special imo
10/16/2008 11:22:31 AM
10/16/2008 11:25:33 AM
Being that my parents live about an hour from Jacksonville and I have been to the stadium quite a few times, I cannot believe it is ranked #5. I guess it is because it is located by the river, but I do not think it is a top 10 NFL stadium at all.
10/16/2008 1:31:55 PM
Lambeau Field is awesome
10/16/2008 1:34:47 PM
^ Agreed although Green Bay is nothing special as a town. I was almost shocked at how relatively small Green Bay is considering most NFL markets. I guess that is part of the charm of the Packer faithful and Lambeau and all. I do think the people in Green Bay are great though. If it wasn't so damn cold/miserable in the winter, Green Bay would be a great place to raise a family.
10/16/2008 4:10:00 PM
10/16/2008 10:14:26 PM
^Has nothing to do with the stadium. It's more of a move to broaden the NFL's fan base. Ralph Wilson Stadium is a little outdated and the tickets are cheap but the atmosphere and tailgating is arguably one of the best in the league.
10/16/2008 11:55:17 PM
Detroit at 31st?I know the Lions are terrible but I always thought that Ford Field was a nice stadium.[Edited on October 17, 2008 at 9:05 AM. Reason : it's pretty much brand new (only 5 years old I think)]
10/17/2008 9:03:44 AM
10/17/2008 10:51:23 AM
I wonder what this list will look like next year when the new stadiums open up.
10/17/2008 11:59:40 AM
yea looking around during this pregame, i dont know how Raymond James Stadium isn't higher on that list
