Is anyone familiar with filling out these forms? We are trying to expand our business scope while the economy is slow and this form seems to be pretty common for buying commercial items and selling them to the government. However some of the fields are confusing since I've never done any of this before. Here is a link to the form http://business.uschamber.com/tools/downloads/sf1449.pdfThanks.

yepgot our TPIN, CAGE# and everything...and registered with DIBBSI'd specifically like some clarification on 17a. Is the 'Code' and 'Facility Code' only applicable if you yourself are a government agency?]

i hate standard forms, specifically 254 and 330. they can be very confusing and redundant. i would recommend taking a class/webinar/etc on how to fill them out successfully. i don't know what business you're in, but if you can find another firm who has filled that form out and actually got the job, get them to tell you everything they can. i talked with a couple of engineering firms who sent me copies of their stuff that helped them win the job, and walked me through what they did. also, if you submit and don't get it, call the POC and ask if they can point out what you did wrong. most are extremely helpful and will explain in detail what you should have done.

i don't think we've ever filled-in the code/facility code blocks; i don't really know what it would be for unless it's just provided for internal use
