The Democratic party is pretty much throwing this guy under the bus with practically no support. The irony? He is probably more classically conservative than Lindsey Graham.

Why is it ironic that the Democratic party isn't supporting him because he is more fiscally conservative than Graham?

I don't find irony in the DSCCs decision not to support him. Neither party has a vested personal interest in any real reform. I find it ironic that the Republican candidate has become as tax and spend as the Democrats the 94 "Revolution" swept out.
