says macros are disabled. enabled macros and still can't print. is there a way around this?[Edited on October 14, 2008 at 10:38 AM. Reason : it's in compatibility mode if that matters]

I had this happen. I saved the document and closed it. Then, I open it again. It pops up a macro thing. I disable macros (there are two separate things to disable them) and then printing works.

hey guys, it's unfortunately a known issue that i'm working on (along with some other folks). we've had a few other reports of the same problem from students.

For temporary fix. When it does this, click the little bar across the top that says something about macros being disabled and check to enable all the crap. Close out Word entirely, then open the document again. It should start working. I had this problem last week and took me forever to figure out why it wouldn't let me do shit even after I enabled macros.
