Hey, I've been searching the forums and while there is a lot there for "easy" I didn't find so many threads on "fun". My Spring semester is my final semester on campus and I have extra wiggle room to take anything I want, really. I recall a thread or two in the past about "what I should have taken if I had more time" or "regret not taking" - but I don't know the keywords, so I'm making a new thread.

My favorite two classes of all time have been HI 322 Rise of Modern Science with Kimler and ENG 221 Western Lit I with Kellner. They were both information overloads on really cool topics (for me); Kellner can tell stories like nobody else and Kimler has been teacher of the year (whatever the award is) multiple times. Right now, I'm really really enjoying PHI 205 Intro to Philosophy with Heiner: he's really animated and has a passion for getting students to understand whatever extremely difficult philosopher we happen to be studying at the moment.

yeah STS 322 Tech Catas - I'm in it right now through DE - just took my first exam tonight and it made me laugh, all answers are word for word in the book and simple to find, you've gotta be a loser not to make an A in this class

^was about to post the same thing. In the DE section, all you do is read articles/chapters and then make 3 posts about the readings. I never really read any of the assignments (skimmed just enough to be able to write a sentence or two about them). The tests are easy and you have time to look up the answers in the book.

In the DE section of STS 322, do you have to go on-campus to a proctor for the test, or do you take them online at home?
10/24/2008 2:18:44 PM
I took STS 322 online last semester and everything was online...tests and obviously forum discussions...there was one kid who even used only Wikipedia as a source for our paper and I think he got full credit...such an easy A+
