Where in raleigh area can I get a turbo timer installed? Do shops usually carry them, or would I have to buy one online? This is for a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3.Thanks

phantasm motorsport has them in stock and can install them. although i'd recommend saving the money on one and put it towards something useful. it only takes around 30 seconds of idle time after normal driving and around 1 minute after hard driving for EGTs to cool down enough to prevent turbo bearing damage.

and if you're like most people, you are not much above idle in the last minute or two of most drives. i mean, pulling into your house, or in a parking lot somewhere, or whatever...you're usually pretty much idling.[Edited on October 12, 2008 at 2:44 PM. Reason : psi]

Just about every OEM turbo is water cooled which makes turbo timers even more useless...
