tuned towards oversteer, knowing that the DSC is there to reign things in? Testers always say stuff like "it handles really good, but the oversteer is kinda scary."

all, and i mean all production suspensions are tuned for some amount of understeer. the vette might has a shit ton of power making it pretty easy (like any high hp rwd vehicle) to induce oversteer

^while that makes sense, I'm with Duke on this one. Every car magazine review mentions it. Even Still Millen got into it in last month's R&T article on the ultimate sports car (why they didn't include a Ferrari still befuddles me)

90% of drivers can not out drive DSC or ABS or TCS...

if you are one of the 10%, you will be faster without the 3...

oversteer is faster than understeer, but also alot more dangerous

I've been hearing since the latest Z06 was released that every test driver has said the back end is too stiff making it twitchy, and every year or so Chevy updates the spring rates and shock valving to soften it up. It's odd how the Viper went from being the hardest to drive at the limit (of american supercars at least) to the easiest when the updated Viper and C6 chassis designs came out.
