Was pulling into a space in the parking deck and a concrete corner really close to the top of the space took a bite out of my front bumper. It's relatively small but I'd like to try and fix it if possible. Here is a picture. The scrapes are at the bottom and those black circles are reflections of some sort:Any thoughts on repair short of a body shop? I was going to sand it down with some 1000 grit sandpaper and fill it in with the touch up paint I got from the dealership. Sand down the new paint then wax. Think it'll work or is there a better technique?

I've had luck using Prep-All wax/grease remover on large scuffs like that. If that doesn't work, get some rubbing compound(like liquid sandpaper) and gently rub it with a clean cloth(rub too hard or too long and you'll fuck it up).As for the holes/tears, any parts place sells a little bumper repair kit, or just get yourself some of that Plastic Welder brand two part epoxy. You can sand it after it dries, but it's not easy, so try to mold it/clean it while it's wet. You'll of course want to wash and wax the car after all this. I think a body shop would just patch the holes with epoxy and respray the whole bumper, or a replacement bumper.
