She mentioned something about another using another Universities website?

Please help!

That doesn't let me get to the program I need. Its one of those bullshit listening exercises that you use to fill out a workbook.

Thanks though

I'm suspecting we have the same Italian instructor since I heard a similar story during my class... But let me clarify what she actually said. She said that at one time, there was a way to access the listening activities for the workbook online. She did NOT say that it was done via remote login to *our* language lab. She said that another university was hosting the MP3 files for the workbook online but it was over a year ago and the site may have since been taken down/moved. You can purchase access to the workbook audio tracks on ichapters.com or you can buy a Quia access code to get online access from the same folks but either route is pretty expensive. I think that between the outrageous textbook and workbook prices the publisher is ripping us off by having a separate workbook CD. But that's another story...

You should get all your classmates to chip in for access to the workbook audio tracks and you can all share the account.

Found the site.

http://www.langlab.wayne.edu/

All the listening activities are on there.

^^Better make a local copy of all the lessons now. You never know when they could take that down.

use vcl.ncsu.edu

check out a Tell Me More computer (that is the software you will use)

RCN no longer exists. Why would your teacher not tell you? It's not being kept "under wraps" or anything.

Nobody has answered my PM's =(

Can either Chaines or Duro982 please tell me how you were able to access the lab audio remotely?
I saw your post ^ but I don't see where to select a "tell me more" computer when you make a reservation.

Is anyone trying to access audio files for anything other than Italian right now? French, German, etc?

Please be specific.

go to vcl.ncsu.edu and select the FLL Italian Audio image.

French will be up later today or tomorrow.
