I'm looking for an alternative to Nero for burning data to DVDs. I made another thread a while back, and I got some great responses with alternatives to Nero Vision. I'm going to try to get away from Nero altogether.

What's your beef with Nero?

Lots of people at my school recommend Deep Burner. I haven't tried it myself, but they swear by it. It's a free download.

One of my co-workers told me about this:http://cdburnerxp.se/Haven't tried it myself but it's completely free and looks like it would work well.

TroleTacks, my last thread was about an alternative to Nero Vision which is used to convert to some video format DVD player format. This thread is about an alternative to Nero Express which is used to burn data to DVDs for the most part. There are different jobs Nero can perform. It's a hodgepodge program for burners. I'm moving from one program to another. I'm just doing it in steps. If I started this in the other thread, someone would've likely replied to it about an alternative to Nero Vision, which is not the program that I'm looking for an alternative to. I already have that. Thanks to LickHer and quagmire02

Have you just tried Nero (non-express)?I HATE Nero Express. I don't even install it when installing Nero Ultimate. Nero on the other hand is far and away the best CD/DVD data burning application I've ever used.
