Quote :
"The illustrated book, entitled “My Dad, John McCain” and printed by Simon and Schuster (a division of CBS Corp.), is a biography of the senator’s life told from the perspective of Meghan, who is in her twenties and blogs online about her father’s campaign [read: unemployed].

The book begins with Meghan writing, “There are a few things you need to know about my dad, and one is that he would be a great president.”

Describing McCain’s teenage years at a boarding school, Meghan says, “He broke a lot of rules, but he liked football and wrestling. He wasn’t the biggest or the strongest guy on the football team—but he was one of the toughest. He just wouldn’t give up.”

There are illustrations of the McCain’s capture as a prisoner of war and stumping on the campaign trail, drawn by artist Dan Andreasan, who also did the illustrations for the childrens’ books “Pilot Pups” and “A Special Day For Mommy”. "

Quote :
""No," McCain replied to the bedroom query. "But Jenna Bush did show me her room in the White House and it's beautiful." She added with a laugh, "But they're smaller than you might think!"

As McCain autographed books for nearly 100 well-wishers at the Republican National Convention, her mother Cindy and three younger siblings – Jack, 22, Jimmy, 20 and Bridget, 17 – playfully cut in line.

"I'm so proud that she would be an author at such a young age but, more important, that her first work would be about her father," mom Cindy boasted.
"

Really setting the bar high there for your unemployed daughter. congratulations, you wrote the world's shittiest children's book with fucked up illustrations, like your dad in a POW camp, just in time for the convention. Can you say, Sucessful?

I can't wait to read a copy of this in about 4 months at the flea market when it is on the "fucking take it for free shelf."

Walnuts' daughter has huge fucking hands.

I also forgot the best part. She is already picking out a fucking bedroom in the White House. Bitch you're 23.

Somehow I doubt hillary Clinton had a ghost writer for her book, unlike Walnuts' daughter.

^^^^^^Lip gloss.

There's a lot of fucked-up in that picture and this story.

An illustration of her father being captured during the war? WTF?

A drawing of her dad picking up Cindy in a bar woulda been better than that.

^^^ Not that I don't think the book is kind of stupid, but aside from the news article calling it such, is there any indication that this is actually intended as a children's book and not just an illustrated book? I mean, aside from the POW stuff, I can't imagine too many children would get "stumping on the campaign trail". I would imagine this is targeted at an older audience and the illustrations are either their for artistic purpose, or because she couldn't come up with a long enough story to make an actual book. Just because it's illustrated doesn't make it a children's book, I point to Maus and Maus II as two very good examples of this (and invoke Godwin).

^^Yes, it is a children's book. This is a book she is gearing towards kids and selling at the RNC

^^^ Oh for crying out loud, I know you can read better than that. Read my first sentence again, after the first comma, what does it say? And for what it's worth, I'm defining children's book as something targeted at elementary school kids. The Maus books I previously referenced were on the suggested reading list in my middle school, if that subject matter is appropriate for middle schoolers, I see no reason why this book's matter wouldn't be either.

Never mind, I found some excerpts from the book definitely written for younger kids. The book is as stupid as it sounds. Though from the illustrations I saw, I somehow doubt this picture is going to be any more traumatizing for the kids than cops arresting bank robbers on any saturday morning cartoon.

I'd hope so, since the first was taken by a professional and airbrushed. She's cute though, and she will probably age well since her mom is still fairly good looking (though a bit uptight looking).

I think they enhanced her a lot... the left tit looks larger than the right (her left/right), and the strain-lines between them are going off at a weird angle. Either than, or she has some really off-sized titties.
