Dude, I was more of a car junkie then than I am now...i knew exactly what the fuck it meant.

I also had enough taste in reality/movies to know when a movie is completely made for ric0r fanboys.

I still havent seen the 2nd one all the way through...and havent even tried to watch Tokyo Drift.


Gone in 60 seconds was a good movie...because the cars werent riced out and the acting wasnt quite as ridiculous.

I saw the first F&F with a lot of buddies from a car club I was in. Man were we disappointed with all the fake car BS they threw in there! Since then I haven't bothered with seeing the 2nd or 3rd one.

^^^I disagree. Talking about Nissan engines going into Civics did nothing to enhance the entertainment value of the movie. Shit like that made no difference to the average moviegoer, but pissed off people that were actually into cars, and for no reason. And shit like the floorboard falling off? Why not just have the head blow or something realistic, wtf?

I actually thought original F&F was a decent movie. I mean, you can knock it all you want, but gotta give Vin Diesel and Paul Walker props. They started a cult genre.

I've never seen any of the F&F series in theaters. Only on DVD. And not rentals either. Just borrowed.
