I have a 26" vizio 720p tv that i have my computer hooked up to. Originally the resolution was 1400X900, then the hp updater updated the video card (Geforce 8600, 512mb) and when i restarted the resolution was down to 1360x768. Went to the Nvidia control panel and the 1400x900 resolution option was gone, I tried to the driver roll back but it just says i have never updated the driver. How can i get my 1400x900 resolution back?

1400*900 is not the native resolution of your tv

thats why you cant select it

you want the 1360*768

1400x900 should have looked unbearably fuzzy.

it looked fine and was working for 3 weeks, now everything is just really big, i used to be able to have to internet browsers up side by side and see everything on both of them, now i have to full screen it to get the full width of a page, can i just make the font of everything smaller or something?

yup.

native 720p is 1280x720, so if you can find that, use it.

the native resolution of your panel is most likely 1366x768
