Well I want to go to the Petite LeMans in October at Road Atlanta. I mean anyway I am sure people on the boards here have advice in terms of what to do. I want to camp cause its cheap. I have been to VIR many of times and have an idea of what to expect, but obviously this is a different track and so forth. Thanks guys

Don't expect to sleep... At all. And take one hell of a lot of alcohol. If you can get in the esses (forget the turn #s), theres a little ledge you can camp on with an amazing view. Only 5 or 6 tents fit there though, so you have to get there on wednesday. Besides that... sneak on the track at night, just to say you did.

i might go that early for the early camping.......maybethanks for advice. I just want to know the odds and ends; again I could tell ya everything about VIR 'cause I have been there about 10 times I just really want to experience ALMS cars in person. So far I can say I have seen F1, IndyCar on 3 types of tracks, and of course Grand Am cars in person. ALMS prototypes are just bad ass though. and man the GT1 class grunt power on those 'Vettes.

^^ With respect to racing, its the same as most series. You get to see the cars in the pits, talk to the mechanics, etc. The LMP cars are the tits.Overall, I had a great time last year, and may go again this year if my brother does. The constant beverage consuming was the only thing that caught me off guard. Take a camera with lots of memory card space. You can take a lot of pics in 24 hours.

uh yeah i am going mainly for photo ops anyway. I guess you haven't seen my work at VIR.Once I say I am going, my plan will be to add a lot more space with memory cards.
