I forgot what a good movie this was until AMC started showing it this week. It's a solid action film with a convincing love story at it's core (post-Die Hard formula?). Really worth watching. I will not even concede that it is "cheezy". It's earnest, and I think our overly ironic culture tends to confuse the two.

the first half of Cobra is awesome. the second half, not so much.





and AMC is cool, they show good movies, but they do edit quite a bit for time. and i even noticed several scenes in Road House they actually sped up to fit in the time frame. Pretty homo.
