What is that, a '67 Chevelle or what?

Motor is a Fatty Rat. You can get triple deuce carb manifolds for damn near anything. They were available as a factory option on Pontiac (GTO, any of the 389 Trophy v8s), Buick (Wildcat), Chrysler (A engines like the 340 six Pack, B engines galore), and who the hell knows what else.

^I agree. Body is begging to twist under hard launches.

^hmmm, that's a tri power pontiac, is it not?

A GOAT MAN!

but yeah, 3 2's came on lots of stuff. a little bit of a pain to keep sychronized, at least on mopars i know, but damn to they sing when they're all open!

[Edited on August 18, 2008 at 2:26 PM. Reason : six packs ftw, my dad had a 440 variety for a while when i was growing up]

Oh, I just saw that part, I totally ignored where he actually guessed.

I do so love GTO's. That is a great example with a modern touch.

it was called tripower, and the boxy rochesters and intake tell it apart from other stuff. bbbop stuff looks kind similar externally to bbc, but it ain't.

i'd probably swap a 1.8t or a ho jeep 4.0 into one if i had it. maybe the jeep 4.0 with the ko3.

^With the exception that the Buick engines have a front mounted distributor.

The Olds 455 is the engine of my choice because it has a monstrously long stroke.

Ya know, fellas, if we weren't all blind as a bat, we'd have noticed the "PONTIAC" etched in the driver's side valve cover (prolly in both, but that's the only one we see clearly).
