Looking for a good home for my 1 year old Dalmatian/Boxer mix. She is such a great dog but I will not have time for her this semester. She is medium sized, around 40 lbs. She is very active and playful. She is up to date on all of her shots, but needs to be fixed. Please e-mail me at chambj@gmail.com if interested in setting up an appointment to meet her.Joe

She has full vision in both eyes. She just has one brown eye and one blue eye.

This is fucking pathetic. Why do people get animals and then give them away a year later. Wahhh wahhhh...i dont have time! wahhhh wahhh. You should have thought about that before you took responsibility for her.

I know I'll likely get flamed for this, but you'd have a better chance getting rid of the dog if it was cuter

I think it's cute in that "I look weird, but not creepy or disgusting weird" way.

if you cannot find anyone and you cannot keep it any longer you should just give it to the SPCA as a volunteer surrender

are you sure it's a "dalmation" mixThere are white boxers (recessive gene and they usually have health issues)Good luck finding her a home. I would recommend spaying her before rehoming her though. It would 1) make it easier to rehome her in the first place and 2) pet overpopulation is a huge problem 3) fixed animals are healthier animals. You said that you don't have time for her this semester. Have you considered other options such as hiring a dog walker to come by and walk her or enrolling her in a dog day camp. Or renting a house that has a fenced yard where she could get exercise and not be stuck in a crate all day. Pets shouldn't be disposable property, I hope you can find her a good home or work it out so you can keep her. I had dogs the entire time I was in college. three in fact. I went to school fulltime (double major and always carried at least 18 hrs), worked fulltime and was involved in activities. I made it a priority to make time for my dogs. When I found myself with less time I called on friends or hired someone who had time for them.
