I just purchased a HP DV5T which has an Nvidia 9600M GT, but I dunno which GPU it uses.I don't want the hassle of tech support or shipping it back if it is affected, so should I cancel now?http://www.engadget.com/2008/08/12/nvidia-g92-and-g94-gpus-failing-too/Stupid Nvidia.

nope, not here yet. i've got 5 days to cancel/refuse the package. i've just read about the issue online. it makes me sad/mad that nvidia isn't owning up to the problem. no one knows how deep the rabbit hole goes. we just have to wait for the fallout.what should i do? i haven't been able to find any info on it.

Well I've got a G92. If it stops working in the next 5 days I'll let you know.
