My spoiler on my car has just about come off due to my system - I have 2 layers of Dynamat Xtreme on my trunk lid - now the bolts have come off of the spoiler and it looks like the screws are stuck - they have travelled up into the trunk lid, and I can't find a way to get the screws out to put new ones in to be able to put bolts on it - should I just take the car to a shop, get them to take the spoiler off and put new screws and bolts in? Any other suggestions? I can't find any info on how to get the spoiler off (I know take the bolts and screws out, but considering they're stuck in the lid, its a bit difficult). I'm not taking the spoiler off for good, the car would look worse than it already does, and I'm not getting rid of the system. Anything that would keep the lid from rattling after I get it fixed?[Edited on August 14, 2008 at 1:14 AM. Reason : ]

easy solution, don't turn your music up so loud. Your ears will like you better. And 2nd I understand about wanting to put a system in any car, u want good quality music, but why rattle your trunk and others to annoyance? My suggestion is...sorry don't have one. gl

i am having a hard time believing you could strip a trunk interior, line it with sound dampening, and now you lack the ability to replace some nuts and bolts.dude, wheres my car

well considering I stated, I lined the trunk lid, there is no interior - you have to understand, I'm not a mechanically inclined male here
