Hey, I need to access my afs, but I have windows vista so I can't use wolfcall. What alternatives do I have? Thanks in advance!

i'm not sure if AFS is available through SFTP (i haven't been a student for a long time) but you might try WinSCP.

winscp will work.

^^ SFTP access is still available. WinSCP is one good way to get at AFS, and there are plenty of other decent SFTP clients. For those that prefer a two-pane view, I like recommending FileZilla.

fourth vote for winscpif you really really want it mounted as a drive for some odd reason, try webdrive. get it free: http://www.ncsu.edu/software/available-software/product.php?software=272

^ In OS X, mounting it as a drive with FUSE allows you to spotlight it, which i've found very helpful. You can also use the column view with previews, and other stuff often taken for granted that separate programs don't do (or don't do well).I don't use Windows so I can't say what it does good/bad, but i'd imagine there are similar benefits to mounting it as a drive.[Edited on August 11, 2008 at 10:30 PM. yeah i use sshfs/fuse in ubuntu to mount drives over ssh, it's very awesome. i didn't realize that filezilla did sftp, so it's also a good choice. i use it for standard FTP.

Thanks everyone. I do want it mounted as a drive, as winscp isn't providing me with the full access I need (hard to elaborate on), so I think I'll go with your advice evan. Thanks!
