I am looking for a 1KW UPS. Mostly for the voltage regulation/phase reconstruction components. Why.. well, I have a lot of equipment that is sensitive to voltage/phase. Help!

ncsu surplus might have what you need.

i got some apc server ups's from there and they used car batteries.

everything works great, the only reason they got rid of them was to upgrade to newer units with fresh batteries.
