Ideally around 2.5ft in diameter, must be rigid or semi-rigid (hard plastic, foam, etc). Rubber, balloons, etc won't work. Must be hollow. Its a long shot, but what the hell. Also, if anybody knows a place to buy something like this that'd help too.

Already looked, saw nothing that looked right.Something like a large paper lantern or plastic pumpkin would be fine too.[Edited on August 5, 2008 at 7:37 PM. Reason : .]

This shouldn't actually be too hard to make, if you were willing to spend a little cash.I imagine it could be done for <$50.

Why not do a chicken wire & paper mache' one? Will that get it done?

depends what your trying to make, but a balloon covered in a thin layer of concrete would be dirt cheap. something from a craft store is probably more expensive. its kinda redneck but it works
