Could someone suggest good courses to take to get my credits out of the way? I need something with a minimal workload, one of my friends took one that had no homework and only a few 2 page papers i think it was a philosophy or psychology class. I'm going to have a pretty heavy workload this semester but i still need to get these out of the way.

furshia, just because you like all that humanities crap does not mean every other engineering student has to or that they are stupid for not enjoying it.

GC420 requires some busy work, but it's really easy and the material can get pretty interesting.

^ believe it or not, hooksaw used to TA for that class. I believe he was the TA when I took it

you engineers need to take more humanities classes, you non-spelling, non-writing, non-communicating, non-historical-context-understanding, subliterate sonsofbitches.

Yeah, blanket statements are gay. Specify that you dislike the whining, grammatically incompetent engineers next time instead of pretending that we all lack a solid base in english, history, and other things that aren't engineering-related.

STS class with earnshaw is the easiest class I've ever taken. I didn't do anything for the class till the last week and got a A-. You have one paper and one project presentation.

same here, but I took it and they wouldnt count it as one of my electives (im ME) - the replacement course that I was suggested that DID meet my requirements ended up being something related to genetics and animal testing...Pretty sure technological catastrophes was a LOT more applicable for me but whatever, somehow thats how it worked out.

being well-rounded and enjoying those classes are two different thingshistory students don't have to take a few 200 or 300 level engineering classes to be well-roundedyou argue this shit every time and every time nobody pays you any mind.

^^ I never said anyone has to like everythingbut it's pathetic to avoid taking a good (and possibly challenging!) class in any subject, opting for a mindless version where you won't learn a goddamn thing just so you can boost your GPA

I was able to double up my GC120 credit by getting my advisor to let it count as a Hum. as long as I got the three free elective hours which can be whatever you want them to be.

*sigh* been on the waitlist for 2 of these seemingly forever.
