as far as i'm concerned, if jere wants to be a responsible twwitizen, he's welcome back. you say you're not out to make trouble, so good. when you make threats though, that is certainly not going to help your case. if you can humble yourself just a little bit and say "ok i prolly shouldn't have done the virus but i'm over the suspension now i'd just like to post again" without puffing up your chest when we say no, that'll go a long way. i don't think you're going to get Jere back. but just because an account is suspended doesn't mean you are "locked up". buy a new sn and move on.
7/31/2008 12:08:34 PM
so you're advocating purchasing aliases to circumvent suspensions?haven't heard a mod say that before
7/31/2008 12:28:27 PM
there's a subtle difference. if you make an alias 5 minutes after being suspended, expect to lose that one too. that's the person being suspended from tww and thus all their accounts are not welcome. but in this case, i think Jere the person is not necessarily suspended from tww anymore. however, Jere the account's actions were so egregious that the account should be permanently suspended. Jere the person is welcome back imo.it's like Enron. Enron the company did some really bad stuff and thus went bankrupt and is permanently defunct. The people of Enron, they were punished, but once they've done their time, they are welcome to join new companies as long as they can be responsible. It's not like they are forever forbidden from having a job ever again. It's just not gonna be with Enron.]

ok
7/31/2008 1:36:42 PM
i heard mods get a 10% cut of each alias registration fee![Edited on July 31, 2008 at 1:40 PM. Reason : i'm calling my union rep - this is bullshit!]
7/31/2008 1:38:24 PM
you're gettin screwed man, i get 15% plus 50% of any alias i am directly responsible for the creation of
7/31/2008 1:39:23 PM
Not getting paid to take this job as seriously as you do has to be the lamest thing about this website, topping anything euphalo or the equivalent has done.
