Watch the ABC news clip, jesus christ. The reporter makes it sound like the plane was fucking falling out of the sky and it was this horrible event. The "expert" makes it simply clear that everything went down how it was supposed to.

anyway the real point is at the end....interested to see if this was really an accident or if there was something nefarious behind it that just failed.

I'd love a video to see how everyone was reacting in the plane.

I'd like to think I could keep my composure in a situation like this...but I'd probably freak the fuck out a little bit.

^ There is one, its linked to the left of the article! Someone shot with their cellphone, its actually pretty amazing how calm and relaxed everyone is . . . . the stewardesses were even going up and down the isle with their cart while wearing oxygen masks.

nope, no one freaked out. due in part to the professionalism of the crew.

some people threw up though.

explosive decompression is feasable.

but there would have to be a small hole there inititally and then the difference in pressure causes it to blow up like a balloon that is poked with a pin.

of course that's speculation.

I had to pick up some people from the airport today that was flying Quantas and on my way out the door all I heard on the TV was "Quantas jet explosion." I was going to be pissed if it had been the flight I was dealing with

Dude that aero only sheet metal ..... it would be like if the body kit fell off some dude's honda yeah it'll drive a lil funky but you don't have to worry about the car falling apart.
