I could use a little more teasing than that.

I like Chuck

but I fail to see how someone behind that can helm a Terminator movie

i'm looking forward to a return to the grittier, less campy film (only really seen in T2, i think).

at least, that's what i predict this will be. christian bale attached almost always insures this is a pretty serious movie.

The 3rd terminator was by far, and i repeat, by far the best of the series
now i also wasnt a fan of the fembot but the back story and the judgement day was the best and john conner and the girl were really good in their roles

yall need to take another look at it if you didnt like it

seen it 2x. once in theaters and once with my dad when he rented it. It was ok, nothing special and definitely not better than T2 and personally I liked the original better than the 3rd as well. character development was lame, it didnt hold true to the stylings of the old movies, the fembot was stupid, the ending was meh.

Only reason I am seeing this is because of Christian Bale.

Unless it has some crazy good trailers.

Wow, I had no idea they were making this.

This looks completely awesome though. I doubt it could be as good as T2, but it could easily be MUCH better than T3.

y'all need to shut up about T3, just cause i didnt have 2,000 explosions doesnt mean it wasnt good
yall r missing the whole story
T3 is basically the batman begins of the terminator franchise
it is what spawned this movie, although it lacked a great antagonist, T3's judgement day story was executed flawlessly

this will hopefully carry on the same story telling style

T3 sucked.

[Edited on July 17, 2008 at 6:02 PM. Reason : it was the "Rocky V" of the Terminator series.]

lol wut.

I cant stand most movies with "2,000 explosions" (ie It is hard for me to get into action movies..I did not like the last die hard at all). it has nothing to do with that. In fact the action in it was cheesy. Theres no way you can think T3 was better than T2. I love T2 and I dont even think I can say I liked T3 at all.

T3 was garbage.

Nick Stahl was this series' version of Jake Lloyd. Or Hayden Christensen. Whatever.

I'm looking forward to T4 because it has Christian Bale in it. Hopefully they won't make the future all campy and shit like Zion in The Matrix.

i actually didn't hate the last movie. i thought claire danes and nick stahl were really good, but i thought the dialogue was weak and it didn't feel very dark (even though they are dealing with the end of the fucking world).

i did like how they handled skynet (it's the internet i guess?)

and the nukes going off on the end was pretty cool.

yall r stupid, [edit] except ^this guy[/edit]
why do you think there is even a T4, its cause T3 gave it a foundation with the story
yes the fighting and special effects wasnt that great, but the story is what's important
the story in T2 was pretty stupid, get the chip or there will be a war
in T3 they found out how it all happened, plus how there was no stopping the war
then judgement day happened,
obviously that went right over yalls heads

^^^ LOL wtf are you on? you keep bringing up fighting and special effects, that really didnt have anything to do with why I stated I didnt like the movie. the ONLY comment I made in regards to that was responding to it the first time you brought it up.

nick stahl was terrible imo. The story was OK. It wasnt terrible, however there is NOTHING in that movie that you could even conceivably think might "go over" someones head. Also, story alone does NOT make a good movie. There have been plenty of terrible movies with good stories (see some terrible movies made from good books). The DELIVERY of the story was mediocre at best.

So while the story was decent, that was pretty much the only thing holding the movie afloat and letting it be decent (as you have even stated yourself). So I dont know how you can say the movie was great.

Im going to chalk this up to a troll.

Do the machines send back another terminator to kill conor before he can get the resistance going forward?

It looks like there shouldnt be terminators in this movie yet, but there is one in that trailer.

T-3 wasn't bad...

But you have mental deficiencies if you think its even close to the first two...I mean seriously.

And to actually state that T-3 could "go over someone's head".....wow...

It would be kinda funny if they just turned the next couple of Terminator movies into prequels for the Matrix.

The dumbest part of T3 IMO was how she could somehow control manually operated vehicles remotely.

"Yeah so apparently this 1980's truck actually has a computer operated drive-by-wire system..."

which part was she really good in? the part where her face caves in when she tries to express emotion? oh wait, that's every scene.

Only the fuel injector would be electronic.

The steering and brakes would still have to be manually operated.
