so they use to be off of craftsman dr in raleigh. the 954 # doesnt work, and the 821 # is someone else.

is there some sort of towing authority around here i can try to find to help trace them down?

they did a good amount of towing around the NCSU area.

Who is someone else?

The only thing you might want to do is to call Wake County Sheriff's Office or Raleigh PD and see if they are/were on rotation and if they have contact information for them.

I can't find anything worth pursuing right now. So I think the above might be your best chance.

check my recent boat thread.

i picked up a boat and ski from their old lot. it was left there because it was repo'd (thats what the owner of the land told me)... i just wanna see if they by chance got a lein on the boat so getting a title for it can be much easier.

the ski is most likely parts, i dont care much about that

The address on Northbook is a residence. Owners perhaps? Could stop by and politely ask. It is near North Hills, two lights up from Lassiter Mill, is northbrook. Empty lot on the corner, where they are doing construction. I hope this helps

gk2004 could probably help.

i'll call my brother too. a guy that works for him used to tow full time around here and still works some nights/weekends on occasion.

turns out the boat is from Alabama.. which is not a title state, just a bill of sale state.

so hopefully i can get the pawn shop that it was last registered to, to send me one.

the manager sounded really nice (they took over the pawn shop 2 years ago) the boat was last registered in AL in '03... but the trailer has a FL tag on it from 06.

apparently the person took the AL hull stickers off, and added a 6 digit sticker (i thought hull stickers were all 4 digits).. maybe someone just didnt wanna pay taxes and fees.

haha, Yeah, Absolute Towing moved out of the 909 Northbrook Dr address quite a while ago. The Raleigh Downtowner, a free publication/magazine, resides at that address and inherited the 919-821-9000 main office number now along with two other small businesses. I work for the publication and we get at least 2 calls a day about towing services. We've actually thought about getting a tow truck and follow through on a few calls for extra money...
