I pulled some puppies from Franklin County Animal Control Wednesday. They were scheduled to be put to sleep Thursday morning. They are a litter of five 6 week old lab mixes. I'm guessing they are mixed with Shepherd and Hound but there is no telling.
They've received their first round of vaccines, dewormed them and bathed.
Very friendly, playful and sweet. They are learning to use a doggie door and we are working on housebreaking them.

1 female - tan with black muzzle
1 male - brown/tan/white (runt)
2 black females with white chests
1 black male with white chest

Adoption fee is only $50.

If interested in meeting these guys please send me a pm telling me a little about yourself and the home you can provide.

they will need 2 more rounds of vaccines. You must sign an adoption contract agreeing to spay/neuter them.

Raising a puppy is a big commitment. I want these guys to have responsible, forever homes.

awww the male runt is a cutie.... but i have a roomate right now with a english white lab (dumbest dog ever) but as soon as i get rid of them i'll talk to you about adoptions

They will require a lot of attention and work right now.
They're both very intelligent. Learned how to use the doggie door and go into their crate on command within a few days.

I've been posting on craigslist but my posts continue to get flagged. very frustrating as I'm in compliance with all of their guidelines. Some people have too much time on their hands or hate animals.. not sure.

I'm getting them posted on petfinder, sponsored by a rescue group so that will help.

I'm screening all homes (there are some idiots out there) and have been lucky so far in placing 3 of them.

I have 2 older pups (in another foster home) that will be looking for homes in 2-3 weeks. They had a rough start... They are both females, around 6 months old. 1 yellow and 1 black. So if you're looking for an older puppy keep them in mind. They will be fully vetted and spayed before being adopted.

I've been flagged on facebook with that kind of thing before, it's very aggravating. Good luck finding them a new home! We'd be interested, but I'm afraid full time work schedules and puppies don't mix.

^ yea I'm getting sick of Craigslist. Some people have nothing better to do. I'm not using the pets section anymore after this. They need mods or someone monitoring the activity there.

I still have the 2 left. As soon as I find these guys homes I'll be taking it two other fosters (older lab mixes). I don't know what I was thinking rescuing 7 puppies in one day (I'm thankful my husband hasn't left me)

you can post them on 1800saveapet too. If you want, I can post them on my Aussie 1800saveapet. I doubt it matters they aren't aussies.

and yes, craigslist is crazy. it seems like people can't post real rescues any more but there is always someone selling their 8 yr old dog that they have had for 8 years but now they don't want it anymore b/c they are moving to that state that doesn't allow pets.

id take diesel right now but there are some complications now and unable to take a dog on.

but thats a damn good dog. if i couldnt get a golden retriever or a short haired husky, id get a lab/lab mix
