I am posting for a friend who won it in a contest.

Screw Sprint's BB plan? Sprint has the best BB plan-$30/mo for unlimited web/email/text/gps...

I realize $499 is high-so make an offer...

Sprint has the best blackberry deal you can get.

$99 unlimited everything. Your bill is like $107 and there is no way to get overages.

^If you are eligible, it is actually $179 after $100 mail in rebate and you have to sign a 2 year contract. A lot of people aren't eligible or don't want to sign a contract. That being said, make an offer or gtfo...

What are you two even talking about? This phone isn't being sold with a contract. And even if Sprint was giving away Curves (which they aren't), you have to be eligible to upgrade (most people aren't). And slowblack-the fact that the phone was a prize doesn't make it worth any less.

i meant the extra charges tacked on to SERO for blackberry data. I mean what's so 'exclusive' about it? mail and web? I know you can use the BBs with opera and gmail but pfft i'll stick with WM.

the simply everything is a good plan if you utilize it, I was on their old 99 dollar plan four years.

ok enough threadshitting, but you're right, 499 seems high.

Sero is only cost effective if you aren't using a blackberry. Some people like blackberries because they don't lock up and need to be reset daily like some wm devices.

best buy has been a good place to buy a phone recently.

i got one there 1 yr contract, blackberry curve $100 out the door. $4.99 protection plan, they replace the phone IN STORE, no sending it off to be 'repaired'.

the phone people aren't pushy and the prices are pretty damned decent.
