I have a 2004 Toyota Camry 4-cyl with 53k miles. The CE light has been going on and off for about a week now but the car has been running just fine (no rough idling, clicks, etc). I took it to Advance Auto Parts this morning and the code read out as the following:P2238O2 Sensor 1Bank 1Positive Current LowThe fact that the CE light keeps going on and off makes me think that it might be a loose connection, but then it could be a worn sensor as well. Anyone had this problem before? Should I take it in to a dealer or would that be a waste?

Figure out where the O2 sensor is then just fiddle with the connector and see if it's loose/corroded. If it looks like it's making a bad contact, try to clean it with steel wool, or just connect and disconnect the thing a bunch of times to see if that cleans the contacts off (used to work on an NES, lol). If that doesn't work, then you might just need to replace the sensor.

if you're suspecting a bad connection

The CE light has gone off for now. In case the sensor is indeed faulty, should I limit my driving until I get it looked at?

if its o2 sensor, it should be covered under warranty

good call, regular warranty expires at 50k but 02 should be covered under emissions till 90k or so i believe.
