I'm moving into a newly constructed house soon, and I want to paint/seal the garage floor. I've seen the kits like this:http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=224198-4-50020&lpage=noneI wanted to know if those are worthwhile, and if not, what I should be looking at.Also, since this is new construction, there's no oil already absorbed into the concrete, so how much prep work am i looking at? I went by yesterday, and it looks like the builder has already pressure washed it. Any other tips or experiences will be helpful, too.

I want to do it because i want to avoid all of the stains that I have in my current garage from various shit dripping off of our cars.

One of my friends up at Lake Gaston just got his garage done with some awesome textured stuff that looked like gray brick pavers when it was finished. It was a pretty tough looking coating. From what he said they put down a layer of white coating, taped it off in such a way that the white would look like grout lines, and then put down a layer of gray coating. When they pulled up the tape it looked like gray pavers with white grout. The stuff was thick enough that it didn't look totally flat like that linoleum that is made to look like tiles.

^ thanks for the heads up. I spent the last hour reading through the info they have on their site, and i'm pretty fuckin' impressed with the amount of detail they go into. I think i'm gonna order it today.

no prob. had it at the old house and it holds up to everything but a full on burnout. even the concrete gave way that night. the new house has the sherwin williams stuff put down by the previous owner, its ok but dosent look as nice as the ucoatit and i doubt its as durable.
