worst post-championship moment evarhow ridiculous did he sound? it's not like he wasn't pretty sure he was going to win it late in the 3rd qtr...thumbs down for KG on that one

I fell asleep. Recap?
6/18/2008 11:33:02 AM
ill go ahead and answer my own question also:very ridiculous.
6/18/2008 11:33:29 AM
its not the first time he's spoke & i've wondered why reporters continue to put mics in front of him
6/18/2008 11:33:31 AM
yeah, not the best thing I've ever seen. However, his press conference talking about "beating the bully's ass" was pretty good.

Garnett is a money basketball player...when his team is up by 30...we weren't able to witness how big of a chokejob KG is this series since he never had to take any tough shots late in games (except for the little 0/2 FT in Game 5)
6/18/2008 11:34:27 AM
i knew that sounded familiarhttp://www.cnbc.com/id/25242538

I agree with Agent 0 hereWe know KG is one of the most intense players on the planetbut not being able to compose yourself for a coherent postgame interview reaks of some deeper emotional instabilityHe never went to college, but you can tell from his interviews and press conferences that he is more well spoken than most players in the league For him to yell out and drop the MF bomb during a live (thankfully 5 seconds delayed for ABC's censors) interview was something you may expect from a college kid winning his first NCAA tournamentBut for a 31 year old to act that way was a bit muchI've always liked him as a player and this won't change my opinion of him, but it definitely wasn't one of his best moments

Somehow, Noah's post-game interview a year+ ago, after UF won, was more coherent:http://youtube.com/watch?v=58JsDoQDzTA[Edited on June 18, 2008 at 11:52 AM. Reason : ws]
6/18/2008 11:52:13 AM
you can tell Horford and Brewer and basically everybody but Noah is embarassed
6/18/2008 11:54:12 AM

im going to execute this maneuver the next time I'm having sex w/ my g/f...
6/18/2008 12:21:36 PM
i think the phrase, "i'm so hyped right now" is my favorite part of the interviewthats one i'll be using in various situations
6/18/2008 1:12:30 PM
It came out as more of an acceptance speech at the Source Awards than as an end-of-game interview
6/18/2008 1:17:23 PM
ANNYTHIIINGGGGGGG IS POSSSSSSSSIBLLLLLLLLEBAM*facial*
6/18/2008 1:28:03 PM

6/18/2008 1:34:52 PM
i think i seriously want to drop a "BY THE POWER OF GRAYYYYYSKULLLLLL" Nick Manning style
6/18/2008 1:42:19 PM
yeah, I'm going to have to throw the ole objectivity flag at KG on this one
6/18/2008 3:02:04 PM
He finally wins a championship and this is what he does? He came off looking like a tool.
6/18/2008 3:52:17 PM
more men would have respected his celebration if it consisted of nothing but crying
6/18/2008 3:53:33 PM
