http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/06/11/fox_obama/index.htmlObama's Baby Mama? Really Fox News? Really? It's really something when Fox News surprises me, but damn. Throw political leaning to the side... Fox News is by far the least professional news network in existence. Also, Michelle Malkin is the character that the onion would write about if they wanted to make fun of neocons, except she is a real person.
6/12/2008 10:41:37 AM
obama supporters really amuse me.
6/12/2008 10:44:25 AM
Hahahaha, wow. That's probably the most offensive phrase they could have gotten away with to push Obama's buttons.
6/12/2008 10:45:08 AM
^^ try again. perhaps you should have said "supporters of human decency and not using racially charged language amuse me"
6/12/2008 10:47:15 AM
Sure John McCain has a black baby but Barack Obama has twoWho do you trust to lead your country
6/12/2008 10:51:33 AM
^^LOL! Obama will be a lot worse for this country than Bush is now. and thats saying something. Anyone who supports Obama is a moron and supports the destruction of America and Freedom.
6/12/2008 11:03:05 AM
gtfo of here you dense motherfucker. This thread isnt about Obama. Its about how fox news is completely unprofessional and classless.[Edited on June 12, 2008 at 11:07 AM. Reason : Are you trying to say that fox news has to stoop that low to get mccain elected?]
6/12/2008 11:06:27 AM
6/12/2008 11:06:58 AM
^I'm not a republican, but nice guess. And I never voted for bush for the same reasons I would never vote for Obama.
6/12/2008 11:09:14 AM
even used colloquially, that is childish and offensive to use with regard to a presidential candidate's long-time wife. not to mention, they would never say that about a white candidate's wife, republican or democrat
6/12/2008 11:10:58 AM
Geeze.
6/12/2008 11:24:06 AM
That's messed up, even if it's "just because it sort of rhymes with Obama." Definitely not a valid excuse for a "serious" news organization, and for a bunch of folks who write for a living, it's not even that creative. It's not really valid if you're a redneck who barely graduated high school. I like that it's also still attached to the "That colored lady what's married to the turrist Dem candidate doesn't love Amurrica!" story. I guess if they did it any other way, they wouldn't be Fox News.
6/12/2008 11:28:44 AM
last I heard fox news doesn't even carry a "news liscense" from the FCC, they are listed under entertainment. anyone else confirm?
6/12/2008 11:30:35 AM
^ Of course not.
6/12/2008 11:53:46 AM
6/12/2008 12:04:55 PM
They bill themselves as a news organization. If they came out and said "We're a bunch of stooges playing grab-ass on TV," I wouldn't care. The objection is that it's inappropriate, like making age jokes or speaking an Asian language around John McCain to see him twitch.
6/12/2008 12:15:02 PM
I understand that, but this is low on the list of dumb things Fox does, I think. You're better off just ignoring it and worrying about more important issues than to feed the selectivity bias the right has of the "whiny liberal" stereotype.
6/12/2008 12:22:03 PM
Maybe, but at the same time, letting things like this go makes them think nobody minds. I object more because it's dumb than because it's inappropriate, which along with the lack of real reporting, annoying talking heads and "experts", open conservative bias, and frequent, glaring errors, explains why I'd rather watch CNN or MSNBC (which has been impressing me lately).
6/12/2008 12:26:38 PM
She did call Obama her baby daddy in front of a campaign audience. Its put up there as a phrase used by liberals.. is that so?
6/12/2008 12:40:33 PM
hahahah....this is funnyyeah she did call Obama her baby's daddy...here is the transcripthttp://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0411/02/se.06.html
6/12/2008 1:04:18 PM
What a stupid thing to get your panties in a wad.
6/12/2008 1:41:39 PM
Obama supporters feign weak-kneed outage so much they should invest in fainting couches. "A television personality said something I didn't like about Barack? Good heavens!!~~"[Edited on June 12, 2008 at 1:47 PM. Reason : butch the fuck up, people. ]
6/12/2008 1:47:28 PM
It's bizarre.I honestly believe I understand what liberals looked like to Bush, Jr. supporters back in 2000 now. What a trip...
6/12/2008 1:48:42 PM
the quote is surely a reference to the 'baby's daddy' introduction by Michelle Obama. the soap box is nothing if not predictable.
6/12/2008 1:55:06 PM
6/12/2008 1:56:54 PM
I seriously doubt this is a reference to a speech from four years ago. It's a lame attempt to be funny.McCain has jokingly referred to himself as "older than dirt" but I doubt we'll see similarly "clever" headlines playing that up.

6/12/2008 2:40:04 PM
6/12/2008 2:44:23 PM
how is a speech from four years ago at all relevant to put as a header on a news cast. Should they also put "Bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb iran" in the header of a john mccain piece?
6/12/2008 3:10:39 PM
Is she not the mother of barrack's children? Do you know something we dont?

John "Bomb Iran" McCain does have a nice ring to it.
6/12/2008 5:36:52 PM
^^^i agree
6/12/2008 5:41:32 PM
As Paul Harvey says, here's the rest of the story. . ."Baby Mama" Drama
6/12/2008 6:51:12 PM
the only reason ratings are so high, is because the entire liberal blogosphere is watching Faux News for the non-stop flow of fascist retards parading across the screen.that, or else it's just the fact that fatass, couch potato conservatives are far more likely to soak up their marching orders from a droning television set than other groups.
6/12/2008 7:06:17 PM
all us fatass redneck conservatives are too lazy to do anything...i mean shit it takes a clever energetic liberal to come up with something as creative as "Faux" News...you latte sipping homos are so smart!did i mention that i let a cable news network piss me off like nothing else in this world? oh man i hate that station! rawr!]
6/12/2008 7:15:32 PM
6/12/2008 7:20:16 PM

6/12/2008 8:18:53 PM
i thought the only reason fox news got such high ratings is cause cnn and msnbc split the liberals...not to mention the liberals that watch fox news to find reasons to detest repubs[Edited on June 12, 2008 at 8:47 PM. Reason : \/ yep]
6/12/2008 8:43:43 PM
they do have the hottest girls
6/12/2008 8:45:35 PM
i guess the liberals could NOT watch fox news, thereby lowering fox news viewership...then they could come up with their own topics instead of just talking about what the people on fox news talk about, further taking away the spotlight from fox news...but then who would they make fun of?]
6/12/2008 8:48:20 PM
imo 4-8 is cnn, 8-9 is most likely fox but rarely cnn, 9-10 is without a doubt fox...after 10 aint shit on to watch anyways
6/12/2008 8:54:29 PM
i don't watch cable news because it is mind-numbing most of the time.i have recently watched for primary results
6/12/2008 8:56:40 PM
Anytime they have the classic format now of having the two people from the different parties just yelling at eachother. I change the channel. Sadly, the other news networks have the same shit on. Usually there is a movie on tbs. It helps
