A good reminder against drinking and driving, as well as wearing your seatbelthttp://www.flickr.com/photos/leewilson/2567240112/sizes/o/in/datetaken/http://www.flickr.com/photos/leewilson/archives/date-taken/2008/06/08/http://www.newsobserver.com/674/story/1101280.html

you do realize Will, that could have been you. you really don't act as though you realize how damn lucky you were that day.

no i realize that to the tee. it really does suck. unforunatly he hurt and killed some one. as soon as i read about this my head dropped cause i felt extreamly bad about what had happend, and it just brought flashbacks of what i had done wrong. it is in now way shape or form funny. i just wish someone could have told him the real dangers involved. he, like i was at the time of my escapade was just eh fuck it. and paid with his life. and i could only hide my emotion through the word words i had typed. so i am sorry if i have hurt anybodys feelings

one of the best wrecks i've seen pics of.... time and time again we come across stuff like this.. and usually it's the drunk that's fine... and the "innocent" lives that are taken... i guess the difference this time was the seatbelt...i guess survival of the fittest lives on?

what a piece of shit, bad luck for the girls riding with him.

I know it sounds like an after school special, but seat belts do work. I'm a volunteer firefighter and I've seen people walk away from some nasty wrecks that were wearing their seat belts. There are no speed limits under 55 in our district, so a lot of the wrecks tend to be rollovers at highway speed.

well, the Bright side is the SOB driving will never drive again, its is sad that the back seat rider who was not strapped in got thrown, well, that and the fact that due to loss of bark the tree is probably toast. Just think, the tree got to slow the car enough to help the passenger who was buckled survive.
