She did have a lot of talk about paths merging, a "democratic family" coming together, and she prominently used the "yes we can" phrase. She made it clear she's going to start campaigning for him, not just a 1 time speech, which I think is necessary to heal the party. At this point I can imagine Obama picking her as VP on a theme of healing the party and then the country. I think there are many strong VP candidates so I don't think she is by any means a necessity, but I think this speech opens her up as a possibility.Hillary talked about how remarkable it would be that women winning state primaries and running for president would not longer be remarkable. She took a chance to reiterate her issues that she cared most about and how it was important to keep working towards them. While I was an Edwards supporter originally and an Obama supporter as well, I think Hillary made a strong run and an honorable exit speech today.

well, glad to see that you are a fool. First supporting Edwards, now supporting Mr. Change Without A Plan. Good work on being a lemming.

My ideal ticket back at the start of this thing was Edwards-Obama. A lemming is more of someone who follows the group off the cliff. But I had gotten into this and decided who I liked some time ago. If anything I may leading the way off the cliff but thats better than just siting in the back row throwing out insults at people you disagree with. But I respect both of these men, have seen them speak in person, met and spoken with one, volunteered for their campaigns, and while I believe that smart and well intentioned people can disagree on who is the best for the country I also believe that it is disingenuous to say these people are without a plan or to paint all their supporters with the same broad stroking brush as foolish.

Obama's only plan is to yell "change" as loud as he can and hope that people will be dumb enough to follow it. If he gets elected, he'll do what all others have done: fuck the country.

^same old song. exactly. the only difference between him and bush will be a pretty little smile and instead of ignoring people just lying to their faces like he cares.

man you guys must be a blast at parties.
6/7/2008 7:28:21 PM
she never released her delegates.any comments on that?

I think if she 'releases' her deligates it means she's stopped her campaign, in which case it makes it really hard to pay off her debt.
