here's the deal. this camera is amazing, and i loved it. but i was stupid and dropped it, which cracked the LCD screen. however, it still works perfectly, you just can't see the pictures too well on the camera.
if anyone is in need of a beater camera, this is a good candidate. the only thing missing is the battery charger (battery is included though+ 1gb memory stick)
the battery is a sony type g lith-ion NP-BG1, so i guess you'd need to either have or get a charger for it.

have no idea what it's worth, make an offer

I dont buy PM bids, so have the pm'er bid in the thread. If it is legit I'll go 50, like you're asking.

and getting into the 50 dollar range is not cheap for a broken, beater camera, because there's no telling what kind of other damage may have occurred when you dropped it.

Also, if you like the camera, you could probably contact sony and see how much it would cost to have the lcd replaced...it may be less than what you could get for the camera on tww.

also, like i said, the camera works fine. i continued to use it for 4 months or so after i dropped it. i stopped using it because i got a new one.
